Mapleton Preserve Program

Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands is linking up with Kingston Greenways Association for their annual EARTH DAY CLEANUP

Come join us for a few hours of Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 2 to 4 at the Mapleton Preserve, 145 Mapleton Road, Kingston, NJ.  Work gloves, trash bags and vests will be provided.  We will be picking up litter and trash in the Mapleton Preserve, the Cook Natural Area and in the areas adjacent to Mapleton, Division, Heathcote, and Ridge Roads.  All are welcome.

EAT YOUR WEEDIES FORAGING WORKSHOP

Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands (FPNL) is hosting a foraging workshop at the Mapleton Preserve from 2-4 pm on Sat. April 25.  It will be led by Debbie Naha (www.wildediblesnjpa.com), an experienced naturalist who holds an MS degree in Food and Nutrition from NYU. An indoor slide talk will be followed by a foraging walk and taste testing.

Pre-registration is required at 609-683-0483 or www.fpnl.org $15 per person, $10 for FPNL members.  Don't wait! Limited to 25 attendees to allow close interaction with the walk leader.
