His talk will pay particular attention to the ways in which the school’s story has mirrored changes in the larger local community over the years. In keeping with Black History Month, he will discuss Rutgers Prep’s historic relationships with New Jersey’s African American community, including an examination of its founders’ attitudes toward slavery and the school’s pioneering traditions of ethnic

and cultural diversity.
