Millstone Valley

The Weston dam on the Millstone River will be removed in May, 2017, funded by some $$'s left over from the massive Cyanamid superfund clean-up.
This will alleviate flooding in Manville,
After about 250 years this dam removal will also enable migratory fish, such as shad, to swim up the Millstone and its Beden Brook  and Six Mile Run tributaries to hopefully spawn.
The next impediment to the migration is the Carnegie dam. A fish ladder there could open up the upper Millstone Watershed.
