Hear Ye, Hear Ye,
“In this year of our Lord, 1779, His Excellency General Washington, upon hearing that Master Wm. Turner of Middlebrook, a guest of Philip and Elizabeth Van Horne, was to retell his eyewitness account of the Battle of Bound Brook; General Washington changed his plans and WILL break his fast with the Van Horne’s and their guests this day.”
