In the Spring 1978 issue of the Princeton Recollector William Flemer, Jr. wrote “The first farm of some sixty acres was purchased from the Myrick family, at a cost of $9,000, in September 1913.” So began what was to become Princeton Nurseries.

The Kingston Historical Society will be celebrating the Princeton Nurseries centennial with an exhibit in the Lock-tender’s House (which is part of our Millstone Valley Scenic Byway corridor) later this summer and an illustrated Talk by Bill Flemer, IV, whose family founded and owned Princeton Nurseries, on Wednesday October 9th at 7:30 pm in the Kingston Firehouse. Please save that date and spread the word to friends and neighbors.
