Battle of Trenton Diorama Now On View at Old Barracks Museum |
After months of planning and correspondence, an impressive, large-scale, finely detailed diorama of the Battle of Trenton was transferred from the NJ State Museum to the Old Barracks Museum this past Tuesday, just in time for Trenton's annual Patriots Week and the 19th annual reenactments of the Battles of Trenton on Saturday, Dec. 29. The diorama depicts the early stages of the battle shortly after Washington took up his position behind the Continental Artillery, near where the Trenton Battle Monument now stands at the crossroads of Warren &, Broad Sts., and Pennington and Brunswick Aves.
See this and other exhibits going on now at the Old Barracks Museum. For more information visit them on-line at www.barracks.org. |
