Annual Reenactment of the Arrest of the Royal Governor,
William Franklin, Benjamin Franklin's son.
Local actor Kurt Epps will portray the Governor. Col. Heard will be there with some militia to clap the irons on Franklin for his arrest; he will then be taken off premises to await jail in Connecticut. Also, there will be other costumed reenactors. Tours of the house will be available. Pictures with the Governor and your family may be taken with your own camera. Light refreshments and food served. No reservations are needed. Fun for the whole family.
